3DPA Hydrography Workshop: Pittsburgh, PA

The Pennsylvania 3D Hydrography Working Group (under the PA Geospatial Coordinating Board) is hosting a series of three FREE workshops at the end of 2026. This registration is for the Ohio River Basin Workshop in Pittsburgh, PA, to be held at the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission.

Anyone who uses or is interested in using 3D hydrography data are welcome to attend this workshop.

The theme of our 2026 workshops is the opportunity to use 3D hydrography. This theme encompasses:

• Examining the benefits, potential pitfalls, and coordination efforts involved in switching from 2D to 3D hydrography data
   
• Demonstrations showing how to access the most recently available 3D hydrography
   
• Applications and case studies of projects using 3D hydrography

Speakers will include state and federal representatives who will discuss the work their organizations have done either transitioning to 3D hydrography or how they have begun to apply these data.
