Recognizing the value of Geospatial data and sciences for enhancing industries, society, and knowledge, Keystone GIS will strive for the following ideals:

EMPOWERMENT

Empower GIS-interested persons, from students to professionals, by nurturing an inclusive network of members, and through membership benefits promote professional certification and growth.

COMMUNICATION

Promote the exchange of ideas, thoughts, opinions, knowledge, and data through outreach platforms, events, support, maps, and other GIS resources.

SUSTAINABILITY

Ensure a sustainable, continued success of the Organization through fiscal responsibility and leadership in nurturing new GIS technologies and ideas.

Implementation

Under guidance of the Board, Keystone GIS will work towards these goals through the effort and time invested by volunteers on organization committees.
