Tour of Two Penn State Centers

Join us for tours of two Penn State Centers that provide geospatial related services – the Donald W. Hamer Center for Maps & Geospatial Information and the Center for Immersive Experiences. Both are housed on the ground floor of the Pattee Library in the center of Penn State’s University Park campus. Center staff will give an overview of the resources and services provided, respond to questions, and provide opportunities to interact with digital resources and equipment.

Tour registrants will convene at 2:00 pm on the ground floor of the West Pattee Library, in the Penn State Libraries Collaboration Commons (outside of the Center for Immersive Experiences). Following a short welcome, the group will be divided in half with each group starting their tour in one or the other center. At approximately 3:15 pm the groups will switch centers. There will be no formal close to the tour, and participants will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the tour.
